Thomas was Governor of the Isle of Wight and fled at the time of the purge.
Thomas arrived in Massechusetts from the Isle of Wight in about 1636 with his wife Alice. after her death, he married Lydia Elliot.
Thomas was an Usher in Medfield Churh Medfield, Massechusetts for many years and was made Deacon in 1667.
